It sounds obvious, but how many times do you see a 5' 3" setter at the net, getting ready to set, and the 6'2" blocker on the other side goes up to block? You gain nothing, and lose at least a step in getting outside to help block if you go up with the setter. Stay down and concentrate on the blasters, instead.
