Eyeing the Middle Blocker DrillSimilar to "Eyeing The Coach," this drill has a middle blocker set up across the net from the setter. As a coach tosses the ball to the setter, the middle blocker takes one step left or right. The setter must pick up that movement, and go to the opposite direction. If the player moves to their left, the setter has the option of setting left front or middle. This drill teaches setters to watch for middle blockers who are "cheating" one way or the other, and go away from the way they're cheating.
